Busy because they are great. Lots of tables so don’t worry about that. Wait staff are very nice and hustle. Food is authentic and flavorful. Nice presentation. They will be rocking it for years to come

Fast service & good Hot meals

Been hooked on this place for a while but was disappointed ordered a mar ie tierra and got all beach front and no cow lol made 3 tacos for my kids and that was all the fajita very disappointed but again good food

Hadn't been here in awhile, but the service was good and food was better than I remember it being.

Never use to have problem here. I love their food and my family does to but lately the waiters have paid less and less attention to their customers. For the first time ever we got up and left after waiting to long to even get noticed. Told what looked like the owner that we hadn’t been attended and he tried but I think he needs to get better waiters. They will ruin his business

Dec 10 2019 @ around 2:45 ordered chicken soup , took awhile to get and when I did I was trying to cut a peice n noticed blood oozing. Went to complain about it n Beto other waiter told lady owner he also returned several other chicken plates back w same thing.they take back to kitchen w/o doing anything about it

Great food and awesome staff. In all the years my wife and I have been married (10+) we have never had a bad time. Prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get.

We ordered curbside. Great staff, friendly and courteous. Food was still hot and fresh when we arrived home. Great prices. We’ll be back.

I have given this place multiple tries, trying something different in the menu every time too, and every time I go I’m let down. The fries are usually undercooked and soggy, the food has little to no flavor.

We Get there and sit down and the table isn't cleaned and we dont get even get attended to. Waited and saw bigger groups come in after us and they get their tables cleaned and get served their drinks. While we wait had to get the waitress attention to figure out who was our waitress no one showed up. So we left... won't be coming back.

Food was excellent. Although when we arrived our waitress was almost leaving and forgot to pass our order to the next employee. Our order was forgotten. After we told another waiter they immediatley serviced us. So i would return here.

Bought 2 Menudos had Burned spots Wnen we exchanged for caldo de Res they claimed it was the sleeve from the Pata very bad service when we exchanged the food that just lost some customers never again

I like it I like the restaurant I have been going for years and never had a problem. It does get a little packed especially during breakfast time and parking is kinda bad but other than that it’s good.

Great local Weslaco staple. I religiously order the Caldo de Pescado and, incredibly, I am never disappointed.

Our food was cold we sent it back the plate was the only thing hot, and it had no flavor! I wanted to enjoy my food and when i got my plate, Regular mexican plate it was full of grease the ground beef was just pouring out that grease. Never had that happened to me it's not the first time there, I'm sure it will be the last.

Always great I'm never disappointed! Great food , great service and never takes long to get food.

The son of the owner was very rude. We complained because there was an extra charge to cook the flour tortilla (to toast it). Never have we’ve ever been charged extra to toast the flour tortilla anywhere I’ve eaten (Laredo, San Antonio or the Dallas Metroplex). The waiter didn’t advised us that there was an extra charge to toast the tortilla. It was my sister & I first time & IT’LL BE OUR LAST TIME!

I love enchiladas from here but past time I went their sauce had some kind of red sausage in it and tortillas were a bit hard.

Food was amazing...I had the breakfast steak and eggs and freshly homemade corn tortillas was the icing on the cake....

Good evening had supper tonight .We waited 15 minutes to get our drinks...I guess you guys are under staff. The waiter had no manners or bother until the young waiter came to explain what was going on...The enchiladas plate were cold so had to micro wave them...The service with the young waiter was good...Keep up the good job... Happy Holidays.

The food was good, however, we dined with a friend who happens to be a veteran, and they did not honor his request for a discount. It was a valid request.

Sunrise offers the best quality Mexican dishes in the valley. Order a Botana for 2 for your group of 4 friends and you all should be satisfied. The choices of drinks are limited, but the food taste makes up for it. Located in the heart of Weslaco, Sunrise is a must go restaurant at any time of the day.

In 2006 I had my first date with my wife here at sunrise and 13 years late we finally had a chance to visit this great restaurant again food was good as we remember on that first date
